A fiery sunset over the Appalachian Mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway during the autumn season, when the ridges and valleys are painted up in peak fall foliage colors. This one was taken while leading my autumn photography workshop in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, NC. We were truly blessed to witness this amazing autumn scene, a fitting end to not only our day, but the 3 day workshop and the season in general. Wherever you are are right now, I hope you take a moment and enjoy the view!
