Autumn colors and evening sunlight highlighting the ridges in the Great Smoky Mountains along the southern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway near Cherokee, North Carolina. It's always a treat to see the warm sunlight breaking through the clouds and streaking down in light rays through the famous blue haze that the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains are known for, and if you're lucky enough to see it during the vibrant colors at the peak of fall foliage the experience is something you'll never forget. Wherever you are right now, I hope you enjoy the view!
