Summer rhododendron flowers at peak bloom bask in the warm evening sunlight under fluffy clouds and an amazing scenic landscape view in the Appalachian Mountains near Asheville, North Carolina. This image was taken in the month of June along the Blue Ridge Parkway near Mt. Mitchell just east of Asheville in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Hope you enjoy the view!
