Light rays and spring flowers over endless peaks and valleys in the Blue Ridge Mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway north of Asheville, North Carolina. The Southern Appalachian Mountains are an amazing area to experience during the spring bloom, which comes late to the mountains offering up dramatic summer thunderstorm skies and sunbeams through the humid atmosphere.
